Description:
1992 Mazda Miata 1.6L Black & Tan with B & C packages. The car currently has 195,xxx miles. I purchased this car in June of 2008 with 172,xxx miles and have completely enjoyed it ever since. I still do, but I just bought a 2000 so the 92 has to go. The car was factory equipped with a 5 spd manual, power steering, power brakes, power windows, tan leather interior, VLSD, Cruise control and AC. The good stuff. Upgraded the brakes from '90-93 spec to the larger '94-05 spec. 1 year old drilled and slotted rotors. Replaced Brake Master Cylinder and all 4 brake calipers. New Stainless steel brake lines. Replaced Clutch Master and Slave cylinders. Complete Timing Belt/Water Pump job including idler, tensioner, cam and crank seals, CAS O-ring, crank bolt, woodruf key, valve cover gasket and thermostat. Replaced ALL coolant hoses with new factory hoses. All fluids changed within last year (Brakes, Clutch, Coolant and Redline in the Tranny & Diff). 2 year old Radiator. Replaced upper & lower shift boots. Replaced power window switches Tan Top and rain rail replaced last summer and are in great condition. Original BBS wheels with centers and 4 nearly brand new 205/60R-14 Sumitomo HTR 200 tires. High output Bosch H4 headlights (I'm going to REALLY miss these). Chrome Style Bar. Newer OEM shocks (40K miles) and Racing Beat Springs. Rears are installed, Fronts will be included, not installed. Highway mileage is 29/30 mpg. Passed Nashville Emissions testing with flying colors last summer. I have all receipts & maintenance records for the time I've had it. The ehhhh stuff Sony CD/AM/FM head end with aux input. Replaced both door and all 4 headrest speakers. The Bad Stuff A/C blows, but not cold (unless it's cold outside). The body has lots of dings. There is one bowl sized dent behind the drivers door in the rear quarter. There is some rust in front of both wheel wells from plugged drains. The clearcoat on the hood and right front fender is peeling. The drivers seat leather has given up. If you're looking for a great RUNNING Miata for cheap, this is the one. I drive it everyday and would not be concerned about loading it up and taking long trips in it (I often do). It not the prettiest Miata on the planet, but it will get you where you want to go safely, EVERY time.
